In December 2024, Irelands Women in Finance Charter announced that they had reached the impressive milestone of 100 charter signatories. Having originally signed up at the end of 2023, MIBI are delighted to be one of the 100 signatories of @Ireland’s Women in Finance Charter! #IrelandWIF
The Women in Finance Charter is a commitment by signatory firms and representative bodies to achieve greater gender balance and inclusivity at all levels across the financial services sector in Ireland. Supported by the Government of Ireland, this Charter underpins the industry’s ambition to see increased participation of women at all levels, including junior, middle and senior management, leadership and board roles within financial services organisations based in Ireland.
Fostering and harnessing the talent and experience of all women in financial services is crucial in developing a strong pipeline of talent. This will lead to greater diversity of thought, experience and leadership styles in decision-making processes, for the economic benefit of the business and the wider community as a whole.
At MIBI, we are making good progress towards our 50% female representation target on our Board. We currently stand at a very credible 45%, and we continue to look for future opportunities to help us realise our 50:50 gender balance target once again. We are also pleased to share that our minimum target of 50:50 female to male, representation in technical and professional roles, has been exceeded again in 2024 with 83% of these roles held by female colleagues in this category. MIBI will continue to support the development and nurture the ambitions and aspirations of all employees to help them achieve their potential.

At MIBI, we are proud to have achieved a Re-Accreditation of the Irish Centre for Diversity Silver Award in August 2024, reflecting our ongoing commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at MIBI.
